2017 Parade Theme: "A Past Remembered, A Present Celebrated, A Future Inspired"


Beginning at Evergreen Packaging on Mapleway Drive; 

Staging & Lineup Start at 4 PM

  • Heading slightly NORTH on Mapleway, 
  • then EAST on Elm Street,
  • NORTH on Brookside, 
  • EAST on Water Street, 
  • SOUTH on Columbia Road into Downtown, 
  • ENDS at Columbia and Bagley Roads.

Feature Events

PARADE New Route & Time Thursday, August 3 at 7 PM

We have to say it....Everybody LOVES a parade! And, this year, there's a new route and new time, plus the float contest is back!  Starting at 7 pm at Evergreen Packaging the route will go through Brookside and Water Street down Columbia and into downtown Olmsted Falls. The trains are even stopping for this one!

The Spazmatics - Thursday, August 3 at 8:30 PM

Dude, we're not even kidding you! The Spazmatics will be here for a free concert on Thursday, August 3rd following the parade. Get ready to go back to the 80s music, style, and dance. On Mill Street in downtown Olmsted Falls.

Craft Beer Tasting - Friday, August 4 at 5 PM

Local Craft Beers will show off their talents on Friday night on Mill Street in downtown. Try flights and delight your craft beer sensibilities in the Falls!

KIDS' DAY - Saturday, August 5

It's all fun, all day for Kids Day on Saturday, August 4th. Performances, music and a bike parade from Olmsted Community Center to Mill Street. So, break out the banana seat and streamers and cruise on in with the kids!

KIDS' BIKE PARADE - Saturday, August 5 Time TBA

The Bike Parade is on! Saturday, August 4 kids can ride from Olmsted Community Center to Mill Street in a sea of the best decorations their imaginations can create. So, break out the banana seat and streamers and cruise on in with the kids! Time and more info TBA soon.

SENIORS' DAY - Sunday, August 6 11 AM-3PM

The music and the fun are tailored for seniors on Sunday, August 6. From 11 am-3 pm there's music, dancing and food favorites for the crowd. Health screenings are free by local practioners, too.

Heritage Days Applications

Thank you for your interest in participating in Heritage Days 2017.  Instructions are listed on each application. Please note:

  • Waivers are necessary for all participants at the booth and in the parade. 
  • Hold Harmless agreements for each child under 18 years of age must be signed by a parent/legal guardian.  
  • Vendors must have proof of vendor license and insurance.
  • Please follow instructions on each application
